FREE BJD STUFF!!!
Remember that last post about wanting to make smoothies and all that fruit I bought? No? Well go read it! lol My peaches softened nicely so I went ahead and cut up my fruit (except the mangos) and put them in packages. There are (so far) four different mixtures. Banana is a common factor for all of them, so other than that I have: apple/strawberry, peach/apple, strawberry/peach, and strawberry/peach/apple. Now, some of them will have mango added, but the mangos are still too hard. They need another day or two to ripen.
For those of you who saw my last post, you might be wondering where the spinach comes in. What does that have to do with SMOOTHIES?! Well, that is because I came across this pin: Green Monster Spinach Smoothie! At first, it seemed disgusting, but somehow…I really, REALLY want to try it.
Do you have any smoothie recipes that you like?
Smoothie time! What better way to get fruit into your diet than with homemade smoothies? I got bananas, mango, peaches, strawberries, supplies, spinach, yogurt, and apple juice! Time to get blending!

I haven’t made any bento since graduating. :( *sad face* But I have been cooking at home with my mom! :) *happy face* My mom has been on a crock pot kick lately. She refuses to cook anything that hasn’t been cooked in the crock pot. (Not really, but it feels that way.)
Today, she planned on making plum chicken wings. Honest, it’s much tastier than it sounds. The sause consists of plum sauce (as the base), soy, onion, garlic, etc. It’s my mom’s concoction so I’m not positive what exactly goes in it. I put frozen chicken wings in the crock pot to thaw for two hours, drained the water off, poured the sauce on top, and let it cook. It was done in 2 hours, but the sauce thickened nicely in about 5.
To go along with the chicken, I used (a lot of) leftover rice from some chinese take out. It has onions, garlic, carrots, broccoli, and celery. I used soy sauce and a smidgen of sesame oil. My mom was (pleasantly) surprised how well it turned out. (She doubts my culinary abilities. lol)
Presented my bento portfolio at my photographic society. It was a big hit! (Taken with instagram)
